Tactical Response Team

repel.gif (81157 bytes) The City of Kenosha Police Department is a part of the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department Tactical Response Team.   It has been determined that it would be beneficial to the Citizens of the City and County of Kenosha to merge this operation and allow the County Tax levy support the team, and the Kenosha Sheriff's Department run the team.  This team consists of six specialized units within the team and each with a unit commander, who report to the Tactical Commander. The Tactical Response Team trains monthly in the newest techniques available to tactical teams with the newest equipment available. The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department Tactical Response Team has also obtained an armored rescue vehicle in the event that downed citizens or officers need to be rescued in a hostile environment.
