Alternate Street Parking

To make Alternate street parking simple, between the hours of 1:00 A.M. and 6:00 A.M. and utilizing the date of those hours.  On the even days, you must park on the even side of the street (west or north).  On the odd days, you park on the odd side of the street (east or south).  This is in effect from December 1, through March 31.

November 1, 2002

Effective December 1, 2002 the Kenosha Police Department will upgrade their parking ticket system.  This upgrade will include an increase in fines that will bring us to an equivalent level with the surrounding area.  All payments and questions will be handled by the citation management system, Parking Solutions.

There will be 2 ways to pay your parking ticket.

1.) BY MAIL: Make Your Check or Money Order payable to the City of Kenosha and write the Ticket Number and your Vehicle License Number on your Check or Money Order. Include your name and address on the envelope. DO NOT MAIL CASH
Use the envelope provided or mail to:

 2.) DROP BOX: THE KENOSHA POLICE DEPARTMENT WILL NO LONGER HAVE THE CAPABILITY TO ACCEPT PAYMENTS AND/OR ISSUE RECEIPT OF PAYMENT AT THE FRONT COUNTER.  However, payment may be made by utilizing the drop box located on 10th Avenue or the drop box inside the Safety Building at the Police Department Counter.  Payments from the drop boxes will be forwarded to the payment center the next business day.

If you wish to contest the Parking Ticket, YOU may call (877)-501-9924 during normal business hours within 10 days of the citation date.

If you have questions regarding this citation, please call (877)-501-9924. When you call, you will be asked for an Agency Code. The Agency Code for Kenosha is 4212.

IMPORTANT

Wisconsin Department of Transportation will suspend your vehicle registration and refuse renewal of any of your vehicles if you fail to pay or contest this citation in court within forty (40) days from citation date.
Illegally parked vehicles with tickets over 30 days old may be towed at the owner's expense.
